Alyssa Pettingill, CCLS, is the founder of EmpoweringKidz, a Child Life private practice based in San Diego. Since 2022, she has provided individualized support to children and families through both in-home and telehealth services.

Alyssa brings over a decade of experience as a Certified Child Life Specialist, having worked at renowned institutions such as NYU Langone Health and Stanford Children’s Hospital. A passionate advocate for pediatric mental health, Alyssa is committed to increasing awareness and accessibility of Child Life services.

She delivers community in-services, parent workshops, and faculty trainings in schools. She is also contracted with VITAS Hospice and a service provider with SDRC’s Self-Determination Program.
