To continue the support of mental health, Hearts Connected wants to support our fellow child life specialists by offering a space to discuss mental health topics. This month we are excited to welcome Michael Fogas as our guest speaker! Michael is currently the Staff Support Liaison/Chaplain at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. In this webinar, participants will receive an introduction to the Community Resiliency Model, a biological and evidence-based strategy to help reduce signs and symptoms of stress and to help improve a sense of wellbeing. Participants will gain a resiliency focuses understanding of the autonomic nervous system and will learn the 3 wellness skills to help reduce stress in the moment.
