About the event

To continue the support of mental health, Hearts Connected wants to support our fellow child life specialists by offering a space to discuss mental health topics. Clinical supervision plays a significant role in the mental health support of a child life team, and it is important to note that clinical supervision can also be emotionally taxing on the supervisor. So how can clinical supervision be successful and emotionally and professionally supportive for all parties involved? We have an amazing host to explain how! We are excited to host Helen Magdalinos, a child life specialist from Montreal Children's Hospital. This webinar will be covering: 1. Recognizing the value of Clinical Supervision and our professional responsibility to incorporate it in our clinical practice. 2. Developing and implementing a Clinical Supervision model adapted to your practice. 3. Evaluating and adapting to barriers or challenges throughout the implementation and post evaluation phase. 4. Creating opportunities for feedback and documentation in order to engage and promote accountability. *This event will be recorded, but you must be registered in order to view recording. Recording will only be provided upon request and in order for a certificate of attendance to be provided, registrant must receive at least an 80% on post-quiz.
