About the event

To continue supporting the mental health of the child life community, Hearts Connected offers a space to discuss mental health topics while offering free PDU opportunities!

In July, we are excited to welcome Katelyn Kieleszewski! She is a Certified Child Life Specialist of 10 years, working across America in hospitals (both inpatient and outpatient), as well as in the community setting. In addition, she has worked in international programs in South Africa, Qatar, and currently in Germany. Her international experience has been both in clinical and leadership roles and she has contributed to activation of child life services in new programs, expanded programming, and trained healthcare staff, nationals, students, and peers alike. She has a degree in Psychology and Special Education with endorsements in working with children with learning disabilities and emotional impairments in addition to a Masters degree in Education. Her love for travel, novel experiences, teaching/training, and international programming and sustainability has shaped and defined her child life career thus far.
