This is a live 90 minute webinar, hosted by a Certified Child Life Specialist, meant for pediatric clinicians to learn and implement trauma-informed techniques that decrease pediatric anxiety and medical trauma, and increase healthy coping with medical experiences. This webinar will focus on: - Common Developmental Stressors in Infants, Children and Teens - Strategies to Minimize Medical Stress & Trauma - The 6 Key Components to Prepare a Child for Medical Experiences and Language to Use at Each Age Level - Comfort Positioning and Coping Tools Based on Developmental Levels - Ethics of a Trauma-Informed Approach Participants will be able to engage in a live Q&A for the final 15-30 minutes of the webinar to discuss specific cases or areas of concern in their practice or patient population.
